The Robert Redford Institute Institute’s retail branch, based in UTAH, for independent filmmakers, was a great success in Connecticut.
The Sundance store in downtown Westport, a colony of over 100 tony shops and restaurants, will hold a customer appreciation event on July 28e In association with the city’s contemporary art museum to celebrate the first anniversary of the store. It is the only location of the brand in the northeast.
“This is our way of saying thank you to the community of Westport, in particular to our loyal customers, for making our first year an incredible success,” said Marty Erdos, CEO of Sundance. “For years, our loyal customers in the surrounding area have participated in the life style of life thanks to our magnificent catalog, but now have the possibility of discovering the authentic life style of Sundance and our exceptional customer service, in person.”
MoCA Executive Director Ruth Maness added that Sundance’s commitment to inspiring art and cultivating creativity aligns with the museum’s own mission. “This partnership will help us continue to provide stimulating and relevant artistic experiences that are accessible to everyone,” she said.
The retail branch of the Sundance Institute presents to buyers clothing and shoes for superior quality men and women, jewelry, accessories, works of art and interior decoration items. There are 18 other Sundance stores in the United States in places that include San Antonio; Deer Park, Illinois; Dallas; Lone Tree, Colorado; and Leawood, Kan.
Sundance’s neighbors in downtown Westport include Design Within Reach, Patagonia, Johnny Was, Bar Taco, Lululemon, West Elm, and Tiffany & Co.
