Dallas-based jewelry company Allie + Bess designed a bracelet to support a local nonprofit.
A portion of the proceeds from each wristband purchase will go to Genesis Women’s Shelter and Supportwhich helps women victims of domestic violence and their children.
Allie + Bess was co-founded in 2019 by Bess Callarman, a former Ursuline, and Allie Wardlaw.
The new bracelet will be on display at Veronica Beard in Highland Park Village at 11 a.m. on May 5. Shoppers will be able to view the popular Allie + Bess bracelet and items, as well as Veronica Beard’s summer collection. The first 50 attendees of the event will also receive a $50 Allie + Bess gift card that can be used online after May 5.
This isn’t the first time Allie + Bess has worked with the shelter. The company partnered with Christmas last year and helped children make jewelry for their mothers.
“Giving back to women and children is the foundation of Allie + Bess,” Callarman said in a press release. “We are honored to continue our partnership with Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support and hope this bracelet will help raise awareness and funds for an organization that does such important work in our community.”
