Disturbing media personality Katie Price did the a disturbing claim that she was raped in South Africa in 2018 while traveling in the country.
The beauty model, formerly known as Jordan, was filming her ITV reality show My Crazy Life at the time.
Katie, along with three of her five children, made the confession in an upcoming documentary titled Trauma and Me.
In 2018, Katie Price and her children Harvey, Junior and Princess, then aged 15, 12 and 10, along with their film crew, were on their way to Swaziland to attend a children’s program as part of her show ITV reality show.
The minibus stopped on the side of the N17 road near Ermelo, Mpumalanga, because one of the children had to use the toilet.
A group of men ambushed the family and demanded money and their belongings. MailOnline reports the attackers stole laptops, iPads, passports, cash and jewellery. They were never apprehended.
Katie Price detailed the event in footage from My Crazy Life released a year later. Katie Prive repeated the incident in 2020 on the SAS: Celebrity Who Dares to Win TV show, saying one of the men touched her.
The mother-of-five said: ‘We should never have been allowed to travel unsafe.
It looked like something out of a horror movie. This tall man wearing an Adidas hoodie was screaming in my face, cursing and demanding everything. Also, he was touching me underneath.
“I grabbed a pillow and threw myself in front of the children trying to protect them, waiting to be hit by a bullet. I thought I was going to die. The police said it was a miracle that we were not killed.
“I WAS CRAZED”
Katie Price claims she was raped three years after the tragic incident and a period of treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder.
She said in a trailer for Trauma And Me: “There was no security when I was filming with ITV in South Africa.
If we had had protection, they could have dealt with the six men who attacked us, held me at gunpoint and raped me.
She told MailOnline: “‘I was suicidal when I went through extreme depression a few years ago, depression on top of PTSD. I tried to kill myself.
She continued: “I got knocked out and had black eyes and neck injuries.” I woke up, I didn’t want to be here.”
