Pakistan Navy personnel, in a joint operation with Customs Intelligence and Investigation Services, seized liquor bottles worth millions of rupees.
A Navy spokesman said on Saturday that in a successful intelligence operation, officials from the Intelligence and Investigations Directorate of the Navy and Pakistani Customs Gwadar seized 5,400 bottles of liquor at Kund Malir near from Ormara. The alcohol was valued at around 70.5 million rupees.

Pakistani customs officers at Jinnah International Airport have seized a package containing precious stones worth several million rupees.
Qamar Thalho, a customs spokesperson, said customs personnel stationed at the international mail office, Model Customs Collectorate (MCC) JIAP, Karachi, intercepted packages imported from the United Arab Emirates and recovered precious stones and semi -precious stones worth up to Rs 11.1 million. .
The stones seized are Zamurd, Marjaan, Moon’s stone, Yaqoot, Opal, Ferooza and Najaf. The parcel was reserved in the name of Shehzadi Begum and was wrongly declared as textile material, carpets and a blanket. An FIR has been filed against the smugglers and an investigation is ongoing.
